A peek inside how Gourmet Oil & Vinegar got started and how we continue to impress you

Wanting to spread the love of both gourmet as well as healthy cooking to others, Susan Hanegan Burdorf decided to open an oil and vinegar store in St. Louis Park’s Excelsior and Grand Shopping Center.

 As you enter the store you will notice a wonderful aroma that’s accompanied by a very modern setting you cannot find in most oil and vinegar stores. Murals on the walls resemble olive branches and balsamic swirls that direct customers to their needs, and vats which are called fostis are found all around the store. These fostis hold more then 50 different flavors of oils and vinegars to choose from, but if that’s not enough Susan also supplies recipe cards for each flavor to give you recipe ideas for each product.

 As Gourmet Oil & Vinegar continues to bring the freshest and most tasteful products from around the world right here to Minnesota, customers are invited to FREE tasting events EVERYDAY of all the oils and vinegars before purchasing any bottle.

As Gourmet Oil & Vinegar continues to grow you will start seeing the store not only at its location in the shops of Excelsior and Grand but also throughout different events as well. This last year products were available for purchase at various farmers markets, the Minnesota Food and Wine show, Midwest Home, Pinstrips and Taste of Home. “We are happy to be supplying Gourmet oils and vinegars to the Minneapolis area as well as around the United States with our online store. My main agenda is not only supplying my customers with fresh oils and vinegars but also with knowledge of their product and how to use it.”
